hi lovees - in 1963 my aunt became pregnant at the age of 16, i believe. she had her baby girl at a catholic hospital 3 hours away and gave her up for adoption. she later married the same man, had 2 more children, etc. but they are divorced now.

in the late 1990's my cousin gina (her sister) and i began searching for my aunts little girl. gina and i made alot of phones calls and wrote alot of letters trying to find her. we found this one lady, phyllis, who lives 15 minutes from me. she likes to take information and tries to match up birthdates, etc. to unite families.

One summer day (about 2 years later) , i was cleaning my house like crazy, and i got a phone call, out of the blue, from phyllis. she believed she found my aunt's little girl. i totally completely freaked out. i couldnt believe she had been found. diane had put her informatin on some adoption registery - phyllis got a hold of the info and matched it up with our information. i immediately called gina - who, the next day told her mom.

to make a long story short, and after the DNA test, @dianeskilton is officially my new cousin. not only did she find her mom, she found her sister, her brother and her dad and his family.

One of My Worst Experiences EVER

oh lovess - what happened tonight made me have such a physical reaction that i immediately had a severe low blood sugar attack. it was comparable to being caught stealing - I was HORRIFIED!

while taking drink orders from this really nice 6-top (i knew it was gonna be a at least a $30-40 tip) - i asked the very last person at the table what they would like to have to drink - she said she would have a RED HERRING semi dry reisling.

i told her i thought we were out of the RED HERRING reisling and asked if she would like DREAM reisling - she said "ya sure".

one guy at the table laughed and said "by the way which is better, the RED HERRING or the DREAM reisling" - i told them "the DREAM reisling was my absolute favorite" - the entire table laughed at me and also had a WTF look on their face. immediately, i knew, i just knew, they owned the RED HERRING WINERY. and i said "please dont tell me, your from RED HERRING" and the entire table shook their heads yes and laughed.

I was utterly, completely floored - i had just told this fabulous 6 top essentially that their winery sucked ass - and I saw my $30-$40 tip drop down to zero!!!

my entire body started shaking - i was a little bit in the hole - i dropped one of their meals (an eggplant parm). thank god the chef likes me and had one cooking at the time, and was able to give it to me right away. the table didnt see me drop it. the entire table really didnt talk to me or laugh any more - you could tell they were upset I didnt' like their wine.

BUT HONESTLY - i really had no preference between RED HERRING or the DREAM winery. i just told her i liked the DREAM so she would feel good about her 2nd choice. if i tried to explain that it would have looked like i was lying. so, i had to let it go.

they left me $19 on $104.

Vizio Complaints - Defective product, poor customer service!

Hi Lovees - below is what I sent to complaintsboards.com regarding my experience with VIZIO. I had this crappy tv for over 3 years. A couple of weeks ago, when i was in sam's club, i got brave and told the manager my entire story. he immediately told me i could bring the tv back and get a replacement.

LOVEES - this tv was over 3 years old and SAMS CLUB replaced it. Thank god i saved the receipt. Sams club is the best. I am now watching a beautiful 46" SAMSUNG. I will never purchase a vizio product again - they truly do not stand behind their products. Thank god Sams Club does. Please read what i sent to complaintsboard.com:

Vizio Complaints - Defective product, poor customer service!: "I purchased the 42 inch vizio in october 06. In Sept 07 I noticed a black streak on the front of the tv. After waiting to see if it would go away I finally emailed vizio in feb. 08. They replied with instructions on how to reboot the tv, etc. It did not work. After playing alot of phone tags and sending pictures to the repairman and talking to headquarters...

VIZIO will not replace my tv. The black mark has gotten worse - it has continued through the entire screen and another mark is starting on the other side of the screen.

I told VIZIO I would never buy from them again. They didn't care.

We really need to get together an do something about this. I bought this TV from Sams for $1, 400 and did NOT purchase the extended warranty because these TV's are suppose to last for over 20 years. Mine lasted 11 months."
