last night i got seated this 5 top. they are regulars and they like me - one member of the party is a shitty tipper but the others always make up for it. so, i kinda like them but if i dont get them, its ok with me.

when i was at the table, shit chatting and taking their drink order - out of the blue another waitress came up to me and said "um, lucy im taking this table, you wait on that 4 top - they requested me, mngr said it was ok". i was fucking livid! and, the table knew it. you should of seen the look on their fucking faces when she did that!

she had waited on them last week. last night when they walked in the dining room they saw her and asked her to wait on them. but, they like me too. so, i knew for sure it was no big deal for them to have me as their server.

right after it happened, at the bar the waitress said to me "sorry lucy" - i said "please dont ever do that again in front of customers".

i didnt talk to her all night and she knows im fucking pissed. i sent her a text message this morning saying i will never be able to wait on them again.

and the thing is - shes labled as a table hog. she had a 12 top and a 2 top going in her section. that is why she couldnt fit them in. i would have never ever done to her what she did to me. i would have politely told the table i didnt have room in my section for them. im still seething!

i gotta work with her tonight and all day sunday - ugh....

today when i went into work, gary told me the whole story about the crazy bitch mom who had to rescue her daughter and her daughter's date. please see previous blog entry.

apparently - after i delivered the check, the entire 8 top could not understand why their totals were so high.

they went up to the bar and one kid asked gary "hey, how can 2 chicken alfredo's come to 40 bucks?".
gary said "um cuz there is 18% gratuity added in".
kid said "18%. thats a rip off"
gary said "well, the going rate is 20% and thats why we dont like to wait on kids like you"
kid said "well, we want it taken off, we want to tip on our own"
gary said "nope, can't do it - its already added in"

and, that's when they called the psycho bitch bipolar mom. LMAO.

i love my gary. he stuck up for me and from now on i will always take care of him. he's officially a my true PBAW.

this is what happened tonight. tonight was a semi informal at a local highschool. as a whole we hate, hate, hate proms. they dont tip. only a couple of years ago did the owner allow us to start adding in the gratuity to all promers, regardless of how many sit at a table. this is great in some cases, but if we know the parent is going to come back o pay, etc. or scrutinize the bill we wont add it in cuz we are scared to. lol

well, i got an 8top of semi informal promers. at 7 or more we can definitely add it in. so, thank god i was completely legal.

the checks were seperate, but i added in each tip which totaled $22. some of the promers didnt have enough money so one had to call her mom to come pay...

i had know idea the mother was coming. this is what i witnessed as i came up to the bar as the 8top was paying.

a crazy bitch lady was going ballistic and yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs asking why the fuck a tip was added in, and didnt we realize they were only promers. she was screaming it to our bartender, gary and my friend ethel. as soon as i heard this i did a 360 and ran back to the kitchen cuz she scared the livin shit out of me. i knew gary and ethel were handling her - they were getting completely bitched at. i knew they had my back covered. so, basically, i made like a banana and split! lol! fuck!

well, when the crazy bitch lady left i ran to the bar and gary said "lucy - you owe us - she reamed us a new asshole" and i said "ya, i knew you and ethel were taking care of it and i took off". he said "ya, i know - WE SAW you leave".

crazy bitch bipolar lady did pay the whole bill, thank god. gary and ethel politely explained to her we add it in if its 7 or more people. so, i did make the $22. fuck.

and you know what - another server waited on 10 other promers tonight. i told her she should add it in. she said "im not gonna, its all seperate checks". guess what - she made 4 fucking dollars off a fucking 10 top of promers. wtf.

we hate, hate promers....
