How Waitresstails Almost Went to Jail and Her Kids to Juvee

hi lovees - this happened 2 summers ago. down the street we had about 100-200 strikers from a nearby corporation. they were striking against health insurance and new contract issues. the entire town felt really bad for the strikers and their families. they ended up striking through the summer and into the cold winter months.

whenever people drove by (6-7 blocks) they would beep their horns. the strikers loved this. they would jump up and down and high five all the vehicles. of course, big hearted, i did the same thing. i blew my horn all 7 blocks every day. i blew it so hard that at times, my horn would give out. the strikers loved it when i drove by.

when my kids were in the van i joked that i would probably go to jail and they would go to juvee. i also joked that it was their summer entertainment.

i would even blow when news stations were interviewing the workers, hoping the higher ups heard my horn from their offices. no one liked the higher ups. they were basically "pricks".

one day, as i was blowing my horn a good 5 blocks i got pulled over by a COP! he got out of his vehicle and yelled "that is the most obnoxious horn ever", "what do you think your doing?". oh he was pissed. i was scared shitless and my kids were scared.

he went back to his cop car and after checking my license, he apologized. i think because i lived on the same street it was kinda ok. he gave me an "excessive horn blowing" ticket and said it really was a minor ticket.

i didnt want to go to court with all the criminals. the owner of our restaurant's entire family is cops (dad, brother, daughter, son-in-law, etc). she called her contacts, and a long story short i got my ticket dropped. i didn't have to appear in court and i did have to pay a $35 court fee.

was it worth it. yes - the strikers felt really bad when i got pulled over in front of them.

My Dogfood Mixture

hi lovees - here is my dogfood mixture: (will feed 3 small dogs and 1 big dog for 4 days)

wellness dry dogfood (i like sweet potato and fish) (Petco carries it)
2 things of ground chix (2 lbs) or hamburger or other form of chicken
4 frozen bags of veggies (pease, carrots, string beans)
(Please, no tomatoes, lima beans, edamine, onions, grapes, raisins, turkey, broccoli)

boil meat and stir until done, add 4 frozen veggies. stir and cook until veggies are tender crisp. strain. put in plastic container and refrigerate.

feed dogs twice a day:

lg dog - 1/2 cup wellness dry dogfood and about a half cup of meat/veggie mixture.
small dog - 1/4 wellness dry dogfood and couple of tbs of meat/veggie mixture.

wellness dry dogfood is expensive but your dogs are worth it. once when i ran out of meat, i served my dogs just the veggies - they loved it. lmao - dumbasses!

when i tell my vets what i feed them they are delighted. my dogs had a health check up this month and are very healthy. they are slim, have shiny fur, bright eyes and pink gums. we also walk them every day. i hope to add years to my dogs' life.

my dogs are so healthy now. they are 4 years, 19 months, 16 years and 9 years.

Please comment and let me know what you feed your dog. I love hearing new ideas, etc.

WatressTails Response

Alysonceline twittered that she sat and talked with her friend for 4 hours at a chili's restaurant. she said the waitress hated them. Please read my response on her blog (if she didn't delete it).

I explained to her that that by her camping for 4 hours, her poor server lost about $30-$40. Based on our sales, wairesses make about $1 an hour. And, her server has to tip out the hostesses and bartender. So, she is only bringing home 80-90% of her tips. This is why "campers" gives us servers complete mental breakdowns. We are losing prescious bill-paying money...
